Bihar Police SI Preliminary Written Examination: Exam Dates
As per the official notification, the Preliminary Written Examination will be conducted on the following dates:
- 18 January 2026 (Sunday)
- 21 January 2026 (Wednesday)
The examination will be held in two shifts on both days, depending on the allotment mentioned on the candidateโs E-Admit Card.
Examination Shift Timings
First Shift
- Examination Time: 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon
- Reporting Time: 08:30 AM
Second Shift
- Examination Time: 02:30 PM to 04:30 PM
- Reporting Time: 01:00 PM
Candidates must reach the examination centre well before the reporting time. Entry to the examination hall will not be allowed after the prescribed time under any circumstances.
Bihar Police SI E-Admit Card 2026: Download Schedule
The E-Admit Card for the Preliminary Written Examination will be available for download from the official BPSSC website starting 30 December 2025.
Candidates must:
- Download the E-Admit Card online
- Take a clear printout
- Carry it to the examination centre
The Commission has clearly stated that admit cards will not be sent by post.
Documents Required at the Examination Centre
Along with the printed E-Admit Card, candidates must carry one original and valid photo identity proof, such as:
