Suchana Seth was apprehended from Chitradurga in Karnataka as she was transporting the boy’s body back to Bengaluru in a suitcase. Gruesome Details Unveiled
Dr. Naik explained, “He (the child) was strangled to death or what we call smothering. Either a cloth or a pillow was used.” He emphasized that the lack of rigor mortis in the child’s body indicated that more than 36 hours had passed since his death.
Investigation in Progress
A senior police officer involved in the investigation suggested that the child was smothered, possibly using a pillow from the service apartment. The officer also mentioned that there was no murder weapon and that Suchana Seth allegedly attempted suicide by slitting her wrists with a pair of scissors. Blood samples have been collected, and a DNA test will be conducted to verify this.

The boy’s father, Venkat Raman, performed the last rites as the child was cremated in Bengaluru on Wednesday. The body was brought from Chitradurga, where the initial rituals were performed at an apartment. Later, the last rites took place at the Harishchandra Ghat at Rajaji Nagar.
