CTET July 2024: Hurry Up! Registration Closing Soon ; Apply Now 

The clock is ticking as the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is about to wrap up the online registration phase for the July edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET July 2024). Today, April 2, is the last day for registration, closing at 11:59 pm.

CTET July 2024 registration commenced back in early March, from March 7. This year, CBSE offered the candidates a generous three-week window for the registration.

Please note that passing this exam is mandatory to qualify for teaching jobs in government schools spanning from Class 1 to 8. However, qualifying CTET examination is not limited for only government jobs. If you aim for a teaching career in a private or aided school, you must pass the CTET examination. 

CTET July 2024: Mark The Exam Date on Your Calendar! 

According to the CTET July 2024 notification, mark your calendars for Sunday, July 7, 2024, as the examination day. With two shifts scheduled, the exam will begin at 9:30 am and will end at noon for the first session. The second session will begin at 2:00 pm and will conclude at 4:30 pm.

The CBSE is all set to administer the exam across 136 cities and in twenty diverse languages, so that it is equal and fair for educators of all subjects.

CTET: Understand the Examination Pattern

The Central Teacher Eligibility Test comprises two papers, each tailored to different teaching levels:

  • Paper-I: This is the first paper in the CTET examination by CBSE. This paper tests the aspiring teachers who aim to teach classes 1 to 5 (Primary Stage). This exam will test your proficiency in various subjects including Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I, Language II, Mathematics, and Environmental Studies. 
  • Paper-II: CTET Paper-II assesses candidates who aspirie to teach classes 6 to 8 (Secondary Stage). It covers topics like Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I, Mathematics, and two elective subjects chosen from a range including Science, Social Science, and optional languages.

  • Locate the candidate activity board.
  • Click on the “Apply for CTET July 2024” link.
  • Register by providing the requested details. Once done, your login credentials will be generated.
  • Complete the application form with accurate information.
  • Upload your photo, signature, and all necessary documents.
  • Pay the examination fee.
  • Submit the form and don’t forget to download the confirmation page for future reference.
