The Election Commission of India has announced the Jharkhand assembly elections 2024. Voting will be held in two phases – November 13 and November 20. The results will be declared on November 23, the same day as Maharashtra. The current term of the Jharkhand assembly ends on January 5, 2025. Elections will take place across 81 constituencies, including 44 General, 9 reserved for SC, and 28 reserved for ST candidates. The formation of a new government is expected soon after the results are announced.
