The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) officially began the registration process for the Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) 2025 in September. Candidates eager to apply can submit their applications online through the official website bsebstet.org.
Forms are also available at secondary.biharboardonline.com and biharboardonline.com. The last date to apply is September 27, 2025.
Bihar STET 2025: Eligibility Criteria
The exam will consist of two papers – Paper 1 (Secondary Level) and Paper 2 (Senior Secondary Level).
Educational Qualification
- Secondary Level (Paper 1): Graduate or Postgraduate degree in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks, along with a B.Ed. degree. Candidates with BA-B.Ed. or BSc-B.Ed. are also eligible.
- Senior Secondary Level (Paper 2): Postgraduate degree in the relevant subject with a minimum of 50% marks and a B.Ed. degree.
Age Limit
- General candidates: Maximum 37 years
- Women, BC, MBC: Relaxation of 3 years
- SC/ST: Relaxation of 5 years
- PwD/Divyang: Relaxation of 10 years
Bihar STET 2025: Application Fee
The fee structure varies by category:
- General/EWS/BC: ₹960 for one paper, ₹1,440 for both papers
- SC/ST: ₹760 for one paper, ₹1,140 for both papers
Payment can be made via debit/credit card, net banking, or UPI.

Bihar STET 2025: Application Process
The process involves three steps:
- Registration: Enter personal details (name, email, mobile) on the official website to generate a User ID and password via OTP.
- Form Filling: Complete academic and personal details, and upload a recent passport-size photograph with a white background.
- Fee Payment & Submission: Pay the applicable fee, upload all required documents, review the form, and then submit. Candidates must download and keep a copy for reference.
