During the investigation of the Goa murder case, the prime suspect, Suchana Seth, engaged in a heated argument with her husband, Venkat Raghavan, before the police. Suchana, accused of murdering their 4-year-old son, vehemently denied any knowledge of the circumstances surrounding the child’s death.

The couple’s dispute traces back to the birth of their son in 2019, as per Venkat. Until then, their relationship was reportedly harmonious for nine years. After the birth of their son, Suchana allegedly began quarreling with Venkat. The disagreements escalated to the point where Venkat started to sleep in a separate room.

Venkat stated that the situation prompted him to start sleeping in another room due to the ongoing conflicts. Suchana, in turn, portrayed Venkat as an irresponsible father. The couple’s discord culminated in a court application for divorce, filed by Suchana, as per Venkat. In contrast, Suchana, facing accusations of murder, claimed ignorance about the circumstances leading to their son’s demise.

Venkat revealed that he eagerly awaited the court’s permission to meet his son, who expressed a desire to see him. However, Suchana initially resisted, only allowing the meeting after court intervention in December 2022. Venkat expressed his anticipation to meet his son on the scheduled date, January 7th, but Suchana unexpectedly left for Goa without informing him.

Despite attempting to contact Suchana multiple times, Venkat received no response. He even sent emails and messages seeking clarification but received no reply. Attorney Azhar Mir, representing Venkat, confirmed that they had provided all relevant documents related to Suchana and Venkat’s divorce proceedings to the police.

Suchana Seth, accused of murdering her son, faces additional challenges as the court granted a five-day extension to her police remand. The court accepted the police’s request for further remand to facilitate the ongoing investigation. Suchana’s emotional state remains fragile, having personally buried the lifeless body of her 4-year-old son.

As the tragic saga continues to unfold, Goa police are intensifying efforts to uncover the motive behind the heinous crime. The details of the murder and the events leading up to it remain undisclosed, leaving the public and investigators puzzled.

Note: The court has granted a five-day police remand extension for Suchana Seth, the main suspect in the Goa murder case.
