SSC GD Constable Exam 2024: Answer Key, Expected Cut-off and Live Updates 

SSC( Staff Selection Commission) has released the Answer Key of the SSC GD Constable exam 2024 conducted nationwide from February 20 to March 7. Aspirants can take a sigh of relief as the answer key and the response sheet is out. SSC has also released the expected cut-off marks for the CGD exam. So, stay here to check your score. 

SSC GD Constable Exam Answer Key 2024 

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has completed the comprehensive evaluation for the GD Constables exam 2024. This exam enrolls Constables in General Duty in the BSF, CRPF, CAPF, ITBP, NIA, SSF, and Assam Rifles. 

The SSC GD Constable exam 2024 spanned over a duration of 22 days, from February 20, 2024, to March 7, 2024. Lakhs of candidates took the exam, but the commission will select only 26,146 deserving candidates.

SSC is yet to release the GD Constable 2024 Exam Results. Stay vigilant as the commission can upload the results anytime soon in the coming week.

The selection process for the SSC GD Constable role is intricate. It assesses the overall competence and aptness of candidates for the Constable positions. The exam was conducted in various phases, starting with the Computer Based Examination (CBE). It was followed by the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), the Physical Standard Test (PST), and culminating in the Detailed Medical Examination (DME).

The written test comprised 80 multiple-choice questions which spanned across domains such as General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Knowledge & General Awareness, Elementary Mathematics, and General Hindi/English. Each correct answer carried a weightage of 2 marks, which sums up to a total of 160 marks. Candidates were allotted 60 minutes to complete the test, with a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect response. 

SSC GD Answer Key Objections: How To Proceed 

If you have any objections pertaining to the tentative answer key, the SSC has a mechanism for raising objections. You can raise objections against the provisional answer key upon payment of a fee of Rs. 100 per objection.

For doing the same, follow these steps: 

• Go to the SSC website;
• Log in using your credentials, ie your username ( roll no) and password 
• Check the specific timeline for objection submissions for your exam 
• Double check your answers before raising objections.
• Click on the payment option 
• Submit the objection. 

Tip: Note down the transaction ID of your objection submission for future reference. 

After reviewing the objections submitted by the aspirant, the examination authority will release the revised version of the key. You can procure the final answer key from the commission’s portal/website. 

SSC GD Exam 2024 Marks : How to calculate

• Correct score: First of all, count how many answers are correct as per the answer key. Multiply the number by 2. 
• Incorrect answers: Now, count the answers which are incorrect. Multiply the number by 0.25. 
• Final Score: Now, from the total correct answer score, subtract the incorrect answer score to attain the final score.

• Click on ‘Tentative Answer Key with Response sheet for CGD exam 2024
• Upon clicking, you’ll see a new page with the day and shift of the exam 
• Now log in using your credentials
• The page will display the answer key. Click on ‘Download and Print’;
• Now, you can match your answers with the answer key.
